Saturday, August 16, 2003 ( 6:08 AM ) bibleeofilee today is one month from the day of my last post, in which i apologized for my lack of posting. i don't know if that's poetic, or merely ironic. anywho, not too awful much is going on. my friend tim came home for a nanosecond, now amy is home, and robert probably isn't ever coming home. i've only spent one night at the lake all summer. fancy that! i'm going camping tonight. that should be fun. garth has taken extra measures to ensure that we will have a time to rival that of last summer's trip. the police presence in this town is crazy! apparently some dude got mad at shooter's (a local bar) because he won on the vlt and they told him he would have to come back the next day to get his money. then he went home and got a gun. what a nutbar. so yeah, last night there were undercover police there and there were about four cruisers doing the circuit between jr's, dooly's, the legion and shooter's. and there were some on foot, pretending to be drunk and walking up to people in the parking lot and busting them for open liquor. craaaaazy! one more week of work, woo-hoo. a boy at work (well, he doesn't work with me but i see him at work) has asked me to go out on the town with him next weekend. he's nice and all, but my co-worker likes him, and i hear that he isn't at all particular so now i'm not really as flattered as i was. if i decide to go i'll proabably take someone with me. just in case. cause i will set the limit about ten minutes into the evening, and then i'll have someone to help me stick to it. i do like hanging out with another boy from work who is really nice and easy to talk to and has a great sense of humour. too bad he's still in high school. therefore, i will not touch. school starts in less than a month and i'm super excited to move back. i haven't seen anyone except jodie in april, so i haven't heard any really good stories yet either. and i expect there to be lots of stories......and if there aren't then please make some up, because i have been on my worst behaviour all summer and it would SUCK if everyone else was well behaved ;) later days # |
